As an entry-level course, AWS Technical Essentials is open to any professional with an active interest in learning AWS basics. Whether you are brand-new to AWS, or are a SysOps developer looking to cement your practical understanding of AWS, this is the course for you.
The purpose of this course is to teach students the technical basics of Amazon Web Services, or AWS. Through practical demonstrations and hands-on lab activities, students will gain familiarity with a variety of AWS products and services. Students will study common AWS solutions, and thereby gain competence with the basic concepts practicalities of AWS.
Module 1: Introduction and History of AWS
Module 2: AWS Foundational Services: EC2, VPC, S3, EBS
Module 3: AWS Security, Identity, and Access Management: IAM
Module 4: AWS Databases: RDS, DynamoDB
Module 5: AWS Management Tools: Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balancing, Trusted Advisor
