Gabe Aponte is the HR Division Manager for the County of San Mateo’s Human Resources Department, where he leads countywide development strategies and initiatives. Deeply involved in strengthening public sector HR, Gabe also serves as President of the Bay Area chapter of the Public Sector HR Association and sits on the San Francisco State University MPA Advisory Board. A San Francisco State MPA grad and PSHRA Senior Certified Professional, Gabe is passionate about democratizing capability in government teams and reimagining how AI can accelerate, not replace, human growth, trust, and impact.
