+ What is the location of Learn iT's in-person classes?

We are located in the heart of San Francisco at 33 New Montgomery in Suite 300.

+ What are the hours of operation?

Our office hours are from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (PST)

+ How long are classes?

Please refer to specific course pages for information regarding duration and time.

+ How do I register for a course?

There are two ways to register. If you already purchased a Partnership Package, you can use our Prepaid Registration form to request any courses and dates that have been approved by your organization. We will register you for eligible classes and follow up with a confirmation email. (Please remember that you are NOT registered for classes until you receive your confirmation from Learn iT!). If you are new to Learn iT! or not a part of our Partnership Program, you can use the regular checkout to register for courses. Please call us at 855-838-5028 if you have any questions.

+ Can I show up the day of class and get a seat?

If there are seats available, you can take the class. We do recommend you call beforehand to guarantee there is space available as many of our popular classes fill up quickly.

+ What type of payments are accepted?

All major credit cards, Purchase Orders, Checks, Training Vouchers and Credits.

+ What is GSA Pricing?

GSA pricing is a special discount given to local, state and federal agency customers. Please contact us for more information.

+ Do classes ever get cancelled?

Unfortunately we will cancel a class due to low enrollment. If your class is cancelled, you will be contacted via email as well as by phone. We will do everything we can to reschedule you as soon as possible.

+ What if I need to cancel a class?

Data Managment Training: 10 Business Days prior to scheduled class.

Professional Development Training: 3 Business Days prior to scheduled class.

Productivity Tools Training: 3 Business Days prior to scheduled class.

Web Design & Development: 3 Business Days prior to scheduled class.

If you cancel in writing prior to the cancellation period, there will be no charge or deduction from your training package. Our cancellation/re-schedule policy is strictly enforced; failure to follow this policy will result in payment in full of the invoice for the cancelled course or full deduction of class(es) from your training package and there will be no refund. Students have the option to send a substitute student to the scheduled class in their place. For IT and Professional Development Training courses, students can reschedule the class delivered by Learn iT! at no additional fee for up to one year. For IT Training courses delivered by partners, students are responsible to pay for the pass-through enrollment costs when they retake or reschedule a class. Learn iT! reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment and Learn iT! will apply funds for classes it cancels to a future class.

Cancellation / Rescheduling

Substitutions of one student for another for a specific enrollment are accepted with at least three days notice before the class begins, provided the substitute meets the course prerequisites.

Cancellation by Learn iT! or It's Partners

LearniT! And/or it's delivery partners may cancel or reschedule any class at anytime and will attempt to provide at least fifteen (15) business days notice when canceling or rescheduling. At customer's direction, LearniT! And/or its delivery partners will refund the tuition for the canceled class or credit the fees toward the fees chargeable for the rescheduled Class.

Travel arrangements are the student's responsibility and LearniT! assumes no liability for any costs, including non-refundable tickets, that may be incurred in the unlikely event of a course cancellation or rescheduling.

Training can be cancelled without prior warning, and money refunded to participants if any of the following events affect delivery of a particular training class: severe inclement weather, natural or local disaster, power outage, airline strike.

+ How do I cancel my Learn iT Anytime membership?

Please use our Membership Cancellation Form to submit your request. We'll cancel your account and notify you shortly.

+ Where can I ask questions about my Learn iT Anytime membership?

+ Do you have to take all modules of a course?

No. It is all about flexibility. You can take as many or as few modules as needed. This feature is also great for students with learning packages. Repeat only the modules that didn’t “stick” or take only the module with the topics you need. If you are not taking a whole series, please be comfortable with the content in the modules prior. The instructor will not backtrack. *This applies to all courses in Office Applications.

+ Does Learn iT! provide computers?

Students at Learn iT! learn on PC’s. If you are a Mac user, take heart. Overwhelmingly, the software we teach works exactly the same way on Macs. Our expert graphics and web instructors are Mac-fluent and will take special care to point out any small differences. MS Office programs also share the same Mac/PC functionality. Sometimes students even bring in their own Mac laptops to use during class.

+ What happens when I Request a Date?

When you request a date our registration team will be notified and do their best to accommodate your request. You will receive email follow up regarding your request within 24 hours.

+ What transportation is nearby?

Learn iT is located directly above the public transportation station for Bart and Muni. Bart goes from the East Bay all the way to the Peninsula, including the Airport. Muni goes inside San Francisco including to CalTrain which is the train that goes to the South Bay.

+ I am a customer of Office Depot and I want to know why I am being billed for Learn iT!?

You have signed up for the Learn iT! Anytime subscription. It is an online catalog of our classes. Learn iT! Anytime comes pre-installed on your computer. You may have agreed to terms of use and payed for the monthly subscription thinking it was for your computer. If you would like to cancel this subscription please contact us at 415-693-0250 ext 3106.

Live Online Training

+ What is Live Online Training?

Live Online Training is an extension of Learn iT’s classroom training. It allows you to enjoy all of the benefits of instructor led classroom training while attending from your home or office. You will have a live instructor train in real time, talk with your trainers and peers via a conference call, and participate in all classroom lab activities by accessing a virtual computer.

+ How do I enroll in a Live Online Training Class?

You enroll in a Live Online Training class in the same manner that you would enroll in any other Learn iT! class. It’s easiest to visit our Live Online Training Class List to find a class that you would like to attend remotely. Live Online Training classes will be designated as such in the location column.

+ Can our company have a private Live Online Training Event?

Yes, we offer both public and private classes utilizing Live Online Training.

+ How do I prepare my computer for a Live Online Training?

After enrolling, you will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email will outline the requirements that are necessary to attend the class and will have instructions or links that allow you to test your system prior to class.

You can also visit the Test Your System page for instructions and links to test your system.

For an even richer experience, take Live Online Training classes with a dual monitor setup or on two computers. This allows you to watch your instructor’s presentation on one monitor while practicing new techniques on the other.

+ How do I attend the Live Online Training?

After enrolling, you will receive a confirmation email, with a link to the Attend Class Remotely page. Simply click the link and enter your email address 15 minutes before class begins.

+ Which browser should I use to connect to my Live Online Training class?

Live Online Training works with all major browsers, including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

+ I forgot my username and password. What should I do?

Your Live Online Training username is the email address that you used to sign up for class. It is also the same email address at which you received the confirmation for the class. No password is required when logging into class at the Attend Class Remotely page.

+ Are all classes offered via Live Online Training?

Most of our classes are available via Live Online Training. You can view our Live Online Training Titles denoted in the title of the course. If you do not find a class that you would like to attend remotely, ask your Account Manager if we can accommodate your request.

+ How will I obtain my courseware?

Students attending Live Online Training virtual classes will receive their courseware prior to the start of class via email.

+ What is the deadline for registration in order for courseware to arrive?

Registrations deadlines vary. Courses with digital courseware can accept registrations up to the last business day before class. Courses which require the delivery of printed course materials require more advance notice. (Generally speaking 3 business days before class is sufficient. Later registrations are possible in most cases, with the student being notified there is a chance courseware will arrive after the start of class.)

+ How can the students ask questions when attending a live online training class?

Students can ask questions of their instructor (or classmates) in the same way they would be able to if they were sitting in class. Adobe Connect also provides an instant messaging feature that allows seamless two way transfer of web links, text, and other data between student and instructor.

+ How do Live Online Training students complete the labs when they are not physically in the classroom?

Students remotely control a computer in our classroom. They will be able to complete all labs that the live students are assigned. The instructor can also connect to the Live Online Training student's lab computer remotely to provide assistance.

Learn iT! offers a dedicated classroom setting for learners who want to eliminate the distractions of their home and work environments. Our reserved Flex learning space is available for any live online class providing you with pre-installed software and hands on tech support.

+ What if I see a course with no dates?

Please use the Request a Date link on the top of the page and we will get back to you with the best option available based on your request.

Room Rentals

+ How many rooms do you have?

We have six rooms ranging in size from 3 seats to 32. Four of our rooms come with computer work stations. Two of our classrooms are specially designed in a U-shape for Professional Development classes with no computers. Larger groups up to 50 can be accommodated by special request. + Are there any lunch options or in-house catering provided on-site training?

Yes, we do offer Lunch options. The rate per person per lunch is between $12-$15/person/day depending on type of lunch requested (i.e. hot/cold)

+ What equipment do classrooms come with?

All classrooms come with a whiteboard and projector screen. Additional equipment can be supplied depending on your needs.

+ What is your room rental cancellation policy?

Classroom Rentals – 15 Business Days

If you cancel in writing prior to the cancellation period there will be no charge. Private Classes and Classroom rentals can be re-scheduled at 75% the cost of the original class date. Our cancellation/re-schedule policy is strictly enforced; failure to follow this policy will result in a full invoice for the cancelled course and there will be no refund.

Set-up – 4 hours of setup is included in the daily rate. Any additional time required will be billed at $150/hour.

We are typically open from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Fri, however, if alternate times are requested, we are more than willing to work with you to attempt to accommodate.
