Who should attend
The Remote Communication cohort is ideal for anyone working remotely or in a hybrid situation, or with others who are working in a remote or hybrid setting. It is suitable for employees of all levels – from entry level to leadership.
Communication is essential to the success of any organization. Clear and concise communication improves morale, increases productivity and will help your remote team achieve the desired results.
Remote Communication cohort is a 5-week program (2-hour weekly learning sessions) of interactive workshops where you’ll learn, analyze, and practice modern techniques for effective communication in a hybrid workforce.
What's included
Week 1
Supercharge remote meetings
Remote meetings are the cornerstones of remote work. Here, we learn and practice research-supported tools you can use to fully engage attendees, look good on video, and get tons of work done.
Week 2
“When to use what” and secrets of effective email
Many people are inspired and overwhelmed by the wide array of communication tools available. We reveal what the research says about when to use what medium, as well as next-level tricks on how to write impactful emails quickly.
Week 3
Assertive communication in the remote world
Assertiveness often comes out sounding aggressive or forced, especially in a remote setup when people are unable to read body language. Here, we examine the psychology behind assertiveness and unlock skills that make it easier for everyone to get their point across without coming across as offensive.
Week 4
Successfully navigate difficult conversations
Some people seem to be naturally good at talking through difficult conversations. In this session we unpack structures used by the most successful communicators so we can use them ourselves.
Week 5
Final project presentations & graduation
We will review the key themes of the sessions, and students will give a short presentation about their learnings. We’ll then celebrate!
