DESCRIPTION

These sample reports are based on the Xtreme.mdb sample database that installs with Crystal Reports.  They are fully documented and designed to demonstrate how common reporting challenges can be accomplished.  

AllOrSpecificParameters.rpt
This report shows how to create parameters that allow for "ALL" values to be returned.  User should be familiar with record selection formulas.

OptionalParameterEntry.rpt
This report demonstrates how to allow users to leave parameters blank.  User should be familiar with complex formulas. 

SetCurrentDateAsDefaultParameterV8.rpt
This sample report demonstrates how you can have the current date as the default parameter value.   User should be familiar with parameters and intermediate formulas.  

TopNWithParameter.rpt
This sample report demonstrates how to create a Report that displays the Top N groups based on a value entered by the user.
Users should be familiar with Top  N, parameters, and conditional suppression.

UserFriendlyDateParamConversionV8.rpt
Report demonstrates alternate ways to prompt users for parameters and then convert that to a date format usable by Crystal.   For intermediate users.
