DESCRIPTION

These sample reports are based on the Xtreme.mdb sample database that installs with Crystal Reports.  They are fully documented and designed to demonstrate how common reporting challenges can be accomplished.  

ASCII_Translator.rpt
This report shows what Crystal will output for the 254 ASCII characters using the CHR function
	
ChangingSortOrderOfLastName.rpt
This report shows how you can alter the sort order of last names when they contain special characters such as the apostrophe.  

CheckBoxTypes.rpt
This report displays several different kinds checkboxes available using WingDings font.  
	
DecimalFormatTrailingZeros.rpt
This report shows how to eliminate the trailing zeros from a number field.  

DisplayOver254CharactersWithFormulas.rpt
This report shows how you can create large strings using formulas and then display a very large amount of text at the end of the report.
	
GroupsInColumns.rpt	
This report shows how you can use a multi-column format to groups in separate columns.  

PreventingWidowedHeadersFooters.rpt
This grouped report created in the Crystal Reports designer prevents the Group Header or Group Footer from being widowed on a page with no corresponding data. This report is recommended for all levels of user ability.
