Public Transportation Options
Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) has many options for public transportation to the Santa Clara Office. CalTrain is also a very popular public transportation option. Regardless of which direction students riding CalTrain are coming from each person should get off at the Santa Clara CalTrain Station due to the bus stops being at the station as well.
CalTrain and bus routes will require each person to catch Bus Route 57 Northbound (NB), this line has the most amount of buses but Bus Route 58 NB and Bus Route 60 NB can be taken as well. All persons taking public transportation must get off at the Bowers & Scott bus stop and walk north bound on Bowers street and take a right onto Augustine Drive, which takes approximately 3 minutes.
Also students coming from locations westward of Palo Alto should be suggested to use CalTrain as they have more coverage and less hassles with ticketing and transfers than both buses and light rail as these are run by different counties.
Light Rail righters regardless of which direction they are coming from should all depart at the Old Ironsides Station and catch Bus Route 57 Southbound (SB). All riders on must get off at the Bowers & Scott bus stop and walk north bound on Bowers street and take a right onto Augustine Drive.
For bus riders the best directions would be to use the main bus route 22 or bus route 522 (the 22 express line) which both run from the Palo Alto Train Station to Eastridge Mall in San Jose. Both bus routes run through all of Santa Clara County and run mainly on El Camino Real. Below is the suggested routes for each mode of public transportation.

Catch either Bus Route 522 Palo Alto Train Station or Bus Route 22 Palo Alto Train Station Bus at the Santa Clara Train Station.

Light Rail:

There are 5 hotels within a 1 mile radius of the Santa Clara Office. Reviews for each hotel are very positive with the only real complaints being noise coming from Great America. The Avatar, Embassy Suites and Santa Clara Marriott are geared more towards business travelers in mind. The Residence Inn Silicon Valley 1 was highly rated as a long stay hotel, with the small kitchen being a major plus to long stay guests. The most interesting perk at any hotel was the free drinks at the Embassy Suites during Happy Hour.
