Parking in the Financial District can be challenging and expensive! We are VERY close to MUNI & BART, and suggest this as your most convenient option. Please note that Learn iT! does not validate parking.

What are your hours of operation?
Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
How long are the classes?
Please refer to class listings for topic breakdowns and dates.
General information is as follows:
Application Courses:
1-4 days long, broken into 4 hour modules.
Classes run from 8:00am-5:00pm with two 15 minute breaks and 1 hour for lunch. |
Technical Courses:
2 – 5 day workshops (boot camps may be longer)
Classes run from 8:30 am-4:30 pm with appropriate breaks and 1 hour for lunch.

Professional Development Courses:
1 -2 day workshops (boot camps may be longer)
Classes run from 9:00 am-4:00 pm with appropriate breaks and 1 hour for lunch.

What is your average class size?
Desktop and professional development class sizes range from around ten to thirty students, depending on the time of year or on the demand for a particular class. Technical classes tend to be smaller, usually capping at around ten to twelve students per class.
I forgot my username and/or password! What should I do?
Your username is the email address that you used to sign up for class. It is also the same email address at which you received the confirmation for the class. If you forget your password you can refer to your confirmation email.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing. You may choose to bring your favorite pen, pencil or notebook, but we also provide them if needed. Learn iT! San Francisco is located near many restaurants, delis, coffee shops, and markets, so if you choose not to bring your lunch there are plenty of options. We also provide fresh organic coffee all day as well as warm cookies in the afternoon.
What course material do I receive in class?
- For Desktop Application courses, handouts will be provided during the session. Class manuals are also available for download.
- For Professional Development courses or workshops, Learn iT! provides courseware tailored to each class.
- Technical courses at Learn iT! include courseware and lab manuals.
Do you offer lunch options/refreshments?
There are many options for lunch within walking distance of our San Francisco location. Please see list below for some popular destinations.

How do I register for classes?
- Visit our website: (www.learnit.com)
- Use the search feature, at the top left of the home page to search for a class.*
- Click the Register boxes next to the Modules/Days you would like to attend, as well as the location you would like to attend at.
- Click “Add Courses to Cart.”
- If you want to add additional classes, Repeat Steps 2-4.
- Click “Go to Registration.”
- Confirm Registration Request is correct.
- Complete Personal Information Boxes. If you have a learning package, please note this in the additional comments box.
- Confirm all information, Click “Submit” if correct, or “Edit” to make changes.
- You will be contacted about paying for your class by a Learn iT representative. This may take up to two business days

Where can I find a course description for my class?
Search for the class you are interested in by using the search box. Once you locate the class you are looking for, click on the orange bar that says: "Click Here To Show/Hide Course Description "
How do I know which module to choose?
By clicking the orange bar, you can view a drop-down menu of specific modules by day, to better tailor a course to meet your individual needs
Can I sign up the day of classes?
For Desktop classes you may sign up day of, if there is space available. However, we recommend you sign up in advance to reserve space in the classes. Professional Development as well as Tech classes require advanced notice for enrollment due to the ordering of course material.
How much do classes cost, and does Learn iT! offer class packages?

What is your cancelation and reschedule policy?Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies
- Desktop Classes:
Students must make class cancellations at least two (2) business days prior to the date of class. Cancellations made less than two business days will be charged 100% of the class rate. Late arrival (10 minutes) may result in your seat being given to students on the wait list.
- Class Cancellations by Learn iT! Learn iT! reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. Learn iT! will apply funds for cancelled classes to a future class.
What is your free retake policy?
Learn iT! offers students one free retake for a rescheduled class.
What if I use a Mac?
Learn iT classes are taught on PC. Generally the differences in applications are minimal. We encourage you to bring your Mac laptop to our classes. Most instructors are well trained in both platforms and will be able to help with your Mac training needs. Please note that your laptop will need to have required software loaded prior to taking the course.
Remote training with Learn iT! Anywhere currently does not support the Macintosh platform at this time.
