What We Do

Using our own 8 Step Model for Learning, researched and developed by our internal experts in education and curriculum development, we provide practical tool-based, leadership and employee development training for business leaders and managers to help you confidently compete and succeed in today’s marketplace.

Faculty
Our faculty is invested in your success. Your seminars are led by a team of seasoned, award winning educators who understand how adults are motivated and facilitate the seminars with key principals of adult learning in mind. We want you to walk away with an enjoyable and productive learning experience, leaving with additional tools and ideas to apply to your personal and professional lives.

Curriculum
We develop our tool-based curriculum in house. Our teams of instructional designers stay on the cutting edge of industry trends and business philosophy to ensure that course content is comprehensive and relevant. All of our seminars provide ample time for students to practice and explore how they can implement the tools and ideas from the course in their lives.

Through trainer-facilitated activity sessions, we combine highly engaging learning experiences with tool-based curriculum, which translates into bottom line business results. Our trainers are committed to helping you take the course information and apply it to your work environment.

Learning Environment
At Learn iT! we pride ourselves in offering a clean, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests. Our classrooms are set up seminar style to facilitate collaboration and encourage student engagement and practice. To keep you connected, we provide internet kiosks and Wi-Fi. Throughout the day, students enjoy complimentary organic coffee and delicious fresh baked cookies in the afternoon.


Identifying, Selecting and Supporting Learn iT! Quality Talent

Identification and Selection Process

At Learn iT! we only hire the best training professionals. We select trainers with a combination of work experience in a training and development field and appropriate certifications where relevant. Training candidates take part in a rigorous three tier screening and selection process to ensure that they have exceptional instructional design and delivery skills that meet the requirements of the adult learner in both classroom and distance learning settings. Our screening process includes reference checks and verification of pertinent certifications. We employ the experiential/values based interview process to ensure the talent we attract is a fit for our culture.

Once the interviewing and screening process is complete, training candidates have an opportunity to demonstrate subject matter expertise and exceptional classroom delivery and facilitation skills through a series of mock training sessions in one or more topics.

Supporting and Growing Existing Talent
Our existing faculty are regularly evaluated and assessed by the Director of Professional Development to ensure training quality meets or exceeds Learn iT!’s high expectations. At the end of every Professional Development seminar, participants evaluate their overall experience in the session, the effectiveness of the trainer at meeting training objectives, and highlight the particular tools and ideas they intend to apply. These evaluations are assessed by the Director of Professional Development and the CEO and are used to identify areas of opportunity and innovation both operationally, and in the classroom. We encourage our faculty to continue to grow and learn by obtaining certifications and developing additional areas of expertise.
